DIY Clay Facials

 

We love a clay mask and religiously incorporate one into our skincare routine at least once a week (#selfcaresunday).

A clay mask has amazing detoxifying abilities for the skin. It deeply cleanses pores by drawing out all the build up and absorbing excess oils without drying the skin.

The Green Smoothie Facial

 

Ideal for Oily Skin Types

Incorporating our Green French Clay with Avocado and Banana, this lovely mask will deeply purify pores and help balance the natural oil content of your skin to reduce breakouts and blemishes.

Avocado is rich in essential fatty acids and is also a good source of vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant that helps protect your skin.

Bananas are great natural moisturisers. The vitamin A present in bananas restores lost moisture and helps to repair the skin.

Do this:

  • Combine 1 x tbsp of Green French Clay with half an Avocado and half a Banana
  • Add either Rose Toning Mist, Green Tea (cooled) or Purified Water and mix to form a thick paste
  • Apply directly to your skin and leave for 10 mins
  • While you wait, scroll the ‘gram, binge Netflix or grab a quick selfie
  • Wash off and marvel at the fresh-faced queen in the mirror.

 

The Berry Bright Facial

 

Ideal for All Skin Types

Incorporating our Pink French Clay with Strawberries and Coconut Yoghurt, this nourishing facial will brighten your skin, leaving you with an even toned complexion and healthy glow.

Strawberries are rich in Vitamin C, an antioxidant that is essential for bright skin and anti-aging.

Coconut Yoghurt is packed full of antioxidants, especially vitamin E, which means it can protect skin from free radical damage.

 

Do this:

  • Combine 1 x tbsp of Pink French Clay with 3 Ripe Strawberries and 1 x tbsp of Coconut Yoghurt.
  • Add either Rose Toning Mist, Camomile Tea (cooled) or Purified Water and mix to form a thick paste
  • Apply directly to your skin and leave for 10 mins
  • While you wait, read a book, online shop or eat some chocolate (because what pairs better with strawberries, right?)
  • Wash off and marvel at the bright-faced babe in the mirror.
