How To Spring Clean Your Skin

Spring is on its way and while we might be loving the warmer weather, our skin needs some help adjusting to the change of season.

After the drier months of winter, it’s super common to have a lacklustre complexion and feel like your pores are clogged. Because that’s exactly what they are.

Just like spring cleaning your home, it a good idea to clean out your skin. To get down into the deepest crevices and haul out all the junk that’s collected there over the last 3 or more months.

How do you do that?

Deeply exfoliating your face and body is the best place to start. Here’s our recommendations.

For the Face: AHA and Detox Face Exfoliants

Our AHA Face Exfoliant and Detox Face Exfoliant  are the ultimate spring cleaners. While we love incorporating one into our weekly routine, the end of winter is the perfect time to put these exfoliants to work.

The Detox Face Exfoliant (if the name didn't give it away already), has amazing detoxifying abilities to draw out all the gunk built up in your pores and absorbing excess oils without drying the skin.

While our AHA Face Exfoliant is a chemical exfoliant using the power of natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids, so is incredibly effective to melt away the layers of dead skin causing lacklustre complexions. Our favourite thing about chemical exfoliants is that no dead skin cells get missed. Where you apply your chemical exfoliant is where it works, giving you an even skin texture.

Afterward applying either exfoliants, you’ll have a brighter, more luminous complexion and smoother, more even skin tone. Perfect to reset your skin for Spring.

For the Body: Coconut Body Polish

Our Coconut Body Polish will buff away your winter coat.

With amazing exfoliation and moisturising abilities, this delicious smelling Body Polish gives you the best of both worlds.

The granular Raw Sugar, Coconut Shell and Sea Salt removes dead skin and stimulates circulation.

While the Shea Butter (known for its incredible anti-ageing effects on the skin – yaaass!) and Coconut Oil provide the skin with essential fatty acids it can’t produce for itself.

All of this leaves you with smooth, truly nourished skin.
