We value being able to maintain strong face-to-face relationships with our suppliers from ingredient providers and product manufacturers, to the local printers who create our marketing materials.
Being a 100% Australian-owned and made brand is very important to us and as a customer, it means you are supporting;

Ethical Ingredients Sourcing
Our natural ingredients are supplied by sustainable sources with ethical practices at all stages of the supply chain. We aim to minimise environmental impact and avoid ingredients that do not meet our standards. We prioritise using native Australian botanicals such as Kakadu Plum, Burdekin Plum, Macadamia Nut Oil, and Desert Lime.
We avoid synthetic fragrances, Parabens, Phthalates and sulphates that are common causes of skin irritation. When skin and hair products are washed off, they go down our drains and into the water system, eventually ending up in the oceans. Our 100% natural formulas are gentle on skin and gentle on the natural environment.

Sustainable Packaging
The bottles we use to package our products are made from recycled and recylable materials.
Recyled PET (rPET)
The majority of our bottles and lids are made from recycled PET. PET is the most recyclable plastic in the world and, in Australia, can be placed in residential recycling bins. Pump lids on our 500ml amenities bottles can be recycled as long as they are dismantled first, simply pull the mechanism apart before disposing.
Glass Bottles
Our serums and Intense Night Repair are in stored in glass jars that can also be recycled at home. Lids should be removed first and droppers on serums pulled apart with the rubber removed before disposing.
Aluminium Tubes
Our Hand and Body Balm is in an aluminium tube. Approximately 75% of aluminium ever produced is still in use today as it can be recycled endlessly without compromising any of its unique properties or quality. Simply remove the lid and place in the recyling bin.
Recycled Boxes and Mailers
Our display boxes are printed onto recyled and recyclable paper with FSC certification. We use recycled mailing boxes, HEX paper bubble wrap and biodegradable packing pebbles for online orders.
Transparency is key in ethical business for accountability and awareness. If you have any questions about our sustainability practices, wish to provide feedback, or have suggestions, please email sales@sayaskin.com.
