Born in Noosa. Built over twenty years. Saya McDermott didn't set out to build a skincare brand. She set out to understand her skin. What she found, in the botanicals and the light and the particular stillness of Noosa, became something she couldn't keep to herself.

Twenty years ago I started making my own skincare in Noosa because nothing I tried worked. I was struggling with my skin and I simply could not find products that were genuinely natural and genuinely effective. So I decided to create them myself. I learned everything I could about natural ingredients, native Australian botanicals and what skin actually needs. I healed my skin. And that journey became Saya.
Today Saya is a modern Australian botanical skincare brand built on one belief, that you should never have to choose between what is good for your skin and how beautiful it feels to use. Every product is made in Australia with the most potent native botanicals, certified organic ingredients and intelligent modern actives, formulated without compromise. Clean, effective and luxurious. That is Saya. And it always will be.

Noosa is not just where Saya was born. It is the reason Saya exists.
There is something about this place that changes the way you think about how you live. The coastline, the national park, the way people here are genuinely conscious about what they put into their bodies and onto their skin. Growing up in Noosa, surrounded by that natural beauty and that way of life, it felt impossible to separate the two.
Saya was created here twenty years ago from a deep belief that skincare should be as clean, considered and connected to nature as the place it came from. The shores of Noosa inspired the formulas. The landscape inspired the ingredients. And the community inspired the brand.
Today Saya remains proudly rooted in Noosa. It is where we formulate, where we create and where our story continues to grow. This place is in everything we make.
