The plants that grow in Australia's ancient landscape didn't evolve to be beautiful. They evolved to survive. Harsh UV. Arid soils. Geological time that dwarfs anything a lab can replicate. The compounds they developed along the way are real, verifiable, and unlike anything found elsewhere on earth.
We're also one of only a handful of places in the world where three UNESCO biosphere reserves meet. The land here isn't incidental to what we make. It's the reason we make it here, in Noosa, where the hinterland meets the coast and the chemistry runs deep.
Founder story
I started Saya over twenty years ago because I had bad skin. Breakouts, eczema, psoriasis. I tried everything and nothing worked. What I eventually realised was that what I was putting on my skin was part of the problem.
At the time, natural skincare existed, but it was a compromise. Truly natural and genuinely effective? That combination was almost impossible to find. I couldn't accept that, so I went looking for another way.
I started using botanical skincare driven by performance, and it changed everything. My skin healed. I became obsessed with understanding why it worked, and I knew I wanted to share that with other people.
Saya was born from that obsession, and from growing up here in Noosa. Coast life, healthy living, a deep respect for what nature actually provides. I wanted to create something that reflected all of it, skincare that is truly natural and truly effective, packaged in a way that feels and smells luxurious at every touch point. Because your routine should feel like something, not just function like something.
This range is for anyone who has struggled with their skin and refuses to settle. You should not have to choose between ingredients that are good for you and results that are real. You never have to compromise.
