Our founder, Saya McDermott, emphasises, "Not only are we simplifying routines, but we are reducing what we are potentially consuming as customers and what we are producing as a brand." Thought Process Behind Mixing Saya Products:

When it comes to determining which Saya products can be mixed together, a careful thought process is involved. Compatibility in terms of skin benefits and ingredient properties is crucial. It’s important that when combined, they not only maintain their individual qualities but also enhance each other. The rule of thumb is to avoid mixing water-based products, like Glow and Super Serum, with 100% oil-based products, such as Renew Serum, to ensure optimal absorption.

Layering becomes a key concept, and understanding the nature of ingredients is essential. While the Renew Serum, being an oil-based product, creates a barrier, it can effectively boost creams composed of water and oils. For instance, the Brightening Peel can be mixed with the Cleansing Gel to create an effective exfoliating cleanser, given that both are water-soluble products. 

Ingredients that Complement Each Other:

Our products are formulated with precision, ensuring that specific ingredients synergise for maximum efficacy. The Glow Serum, enriched with a bioactive complex of Vitamin C, derived from Indigenous Australian botanicals, exemplifies this approach. Similarly, the Intense Night Repair combines ceramides, fatty acids from Argan oil, shea butter, bakuchiol, hyaluronic acid, and pentavitin for comprehensive rejuvenation and hydration.

The Brightening Peel, designed as an all-in-one exfoliating serum, features lactic acid, a bioactive AHA fruit complex blend, azelaic acid, and Licorice root for effective exfoliation, brightening, and hydration. We use a combination of ingredients that work together to enhance efficacy.

Simplified guide: So, what can be mixed with what?

Cleanser Gel:

• Mix with our Argan Oil Shampoo for a comprehensive scalp cleanse. Alleviate skin irritation and dandruff with this dynamic combination.

• For a softer exfoliation, blend the Cleansing Gel with the Brightening Peel, creating a gentle yet effective exfoliating cleanser that leaves the skin refreshed.

Brightening Peel:

• Face: Use as an exfoliating treatment or mix with the Cleanser Gel to create an effective exfoliating cleanser, providing a refined cleansing experience.

• Spot Treatment: Apply to breakouts or dry rough areas.

• Scalp: Revitalise and exfoliate by applying directly, leaving it in before shampooing. Addressing irritation and promoting a healthy scalp.

• Body Exfoliation: Add to the Hand & Body Lotion for all-over exfoliation.

Shampoo & Conditioner:

• Combining the Cleanser Gel with Argan Oil Shampoo alleviates skin irritation and dandruff. 

• Adding Brightening Peel directly to the scalp provides maximum benefits. Applying it to shampoo may not deliver the same results.

• Mix a few drops of Argan Body Oil with the Conditioner for super smooth and nourished hair.

Moisturisers:

• Integrate Renew Serum with Balance or Intense moisturiser for intensified hydration and rejuvenation. 

Rose Hydrating Mist:

• Spritz the face with Rose Hydrating Mist before applying the Glow Serum. Damp skin is more receptive to water-soluble ingredients, allowing for deep penetration and enhanced serum performance. The mist, infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Pentavitin, provides a hydration boost.

Renew Serum:

• Mix with Balance or Intense moisturiser for ultra-hydration. This achieves a more refreshed and rejuvenated complexion with the combined benefits of Renew Serum and our moisturisers.

Argan Body Oil:

• Apply to hair as a natural end remedy, extending the benefits beyond your body. We recommend doing this a couple hours before you wash your hair as a treatment.

Coconut Body Polish:

• Enhance moisturising power by adding a couple of drops of Argan Body Oil.
