Saya’s Noosa Vacay Guide

Saya’s Noosa Vacay Guide

Step into living like a local and discover Saya’s top recommendations on where to eat, drink and swim when holidaying at Noosa.

How do you start your morning in Noosa?

My mornings start with a double espresso. Gym at 5am, a little me-time before the kids are up and hubby's off to work. After the usual mum routine, we often go for a walk in the national park and grab coffee at our favourite cafe Cafe le Monde. The kids they're all about beach time so we’ll often go for a swim afterwards.

Which beach do you like to spend the day swimming and soaking up the sun?

Noosa's main beach is our spot. It's perfect for my little ones, as the waves at Sunshine Beach can sometimes get a tad wild for my daughter Vera. Noosa's simple and great for the kids to explore the rocks at First Point and coves.

Tips for post-beach skin and hair care?

Beach days are about skin protection, especially for the kids. Sunscreen and hats are a must. I prefer mineral or zinc-based sunscreen; they hold up in water. Post-beach, we shower and pamper our skin. The Rose Hydrating Mist is my go-to – a hydrating burst with hyaluronic acid, rose water, and cucumber extracts. The Argan Body Oil, it’s a beach bag essential for that all over body glow and hair nourishment, plus it smells divine. Apply it all over your body to instantly rehydrate your skin and run a few drops through your hair to help smooth and add shine.

Any go-to places to eat with the kids?

With little ones, it has to be easy. Takeaway on the beach is a winner, and Betty's Burgers has become our favorite spot.

Favourite place for sunset drinks?

Bistro C by Noosa beach is my sunset haven. Amazing cocktails, unbeatable vibes, and the view is spectacular. Sails is another sunset gem.

Your top recommendations for Noosa vacationers?

One absolute must is a walk in the national park to Hell's Gates. It's a breathtaking experience. And grab a coffee at Sails – their takeaway cart is a treasure with the best croissants in town. For self-contained stays, check out Belmondos, an organic food market. Lunch at Bistro C is a treat, and if you love Asian food, Sum Yung Guys is a dinner delight.

Enjoy your Noosa Vacay! X
