Why did you create the Balance Moisture?

When I first started making skincare, I had oily skin that would break out often, and I avoided moisturisers altogether. But after doing some research, I learned that the right moisturiser could make all the difference. I started experimenting with different ingredients and formulas, and the first moisturiser I created was called the Pure Plant Moisturiser. It was the beginning of my journey towards finding a solution to my skin issues.

Later on, I created the Balance Moisture, which was a combination of two facial moisturisers from our original line. One had a clear gel texture, and the other was a cream. I combined the best aspects of these two moisturisers to create Balance Moisture, a lightweight, gel-cream texture that focused on hydration.

At Saya, we are always striving to improve and simplify our range to offer the most effective products to our customers. Balance Moisture is a perfect example of this philosophy. The formulation focuses on using antioxidant-rich botanicals, sophisticated hydrating ingredients, and now ceramides to enhance the moisturiser's performance and support the skin.

Personally, I noticed an immediate improvement in my skin after using this moisturiser, and it has become a key product in our line. I am proud to offer a product that not only works but also reflects our values and dedication to skincare.

Tell us about the story of the Intense Moisture.

As a brand committed to creating efficacious and results-driven products, my goal has always been to provide the best care for all skin types. When I started researching products targeted towards dry skin, I noticed a common theme - many of them contained heavy and greasy ingredients such as lanolin, beeswax, and palm oil. While these ingredients are effective in creating a barrier and moisturising the skin, I knew that there had to be a better way to nourish dry skin.

As someone who used to have oily skin, formulating a moisturiser for dry skin was a challenge for me. But I knew that many people out there complained of skin issues such as hyperpigmentation and signs of ageing due to their dry skin, and I wanted to offer something that was like nothing else on the market. I wanted to create a product that had multi-benefits and would feel like a second skin.

My journey in formulating our Intense Moisture began with extensive research on the requirements of dry skin. I handpicked ingredients that were rich in fatty acids such as rosehip oil, shea butter, borage oil, and evening primrose oil. These ingredients offer effective nourishment to the most driest of skin types while providing multifunctional and correction benefits. It's what's so powerful about using botanical ingredients.

Over the years, our Intense Moisture has evolved to contain ceramides, Pentavitin, and hyaluronic acid, making it the perfect cream to provide intense hydration and nourishment to the skin.
