Sales & CX Specialist

Location: Saya Skincare, 6/40 Gateway Drive, Noosaville QLD 4566
Hours of Work: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
The Role
This is a hands-on sales and customer experience role with clear accountability for in-store retail revenue, customer conversion and wholesale sales growth. You’ll be the face of our brand and a confident salesperson on the floor, own online customer enquiries, and actively drive wholesale sales through outreach, follow-up and relationship building. This role suits someone who loves selling, building relationships and taking ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales
- Own in-store retail sales performance and work to weekly and monthly shop targets
- Lead by example as a confident, proactive salesperson on the floor
- Drive conversion, average order value and repeat purchase in-store
- Build strong relationships with local customers and convert one-off shoppers into repeat clients
- Actively grow and maintain the local customer database
- Identify opportunities to improve in-store merchandising, customer flow and sales approach
- Engage customers in-person to educate, advise and recommend the right products, creating a considered, premium experience while actively converting enquiries into sales.
Wholesale Sales
- Proactively follow up wholesale enquiries, leads and reorders
- Support outreach to new and existing wholesale customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners
- Assist with onboarding new wholesale accounts and product education
- Track wholesale sales activity and identify opportunities to grow accounts
Customer Experience
- Own and manage the sales and CX inbox, responding to customer enquiries with efficiency, warmth and deep product knowledge, using education and personalised guidance to build trust and drive conversion
- Convert online and phone enquiries into purchases, providing product education while delivering a consistently high standard of service
- Manage returns, exchanges and product questions efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all customer communication is timely, confident and on-brand
- Create a next-level customer experience by combining genuine connection, product expertise and proactive follow-up to build long-term loyalty and repeat purchase
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Track and report on retail and wholesale sales performance
- Work closely with warehouse and ops to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate records across sales and CX systems
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and customer experience
Warehouse & Dispatch Assistance
- Support various inventory and operational tasks in coordination with the Warehouse Manager
- Assist the warehouse team with pick, pack and dispatch orders when required
About You
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer-facing sales or CX roles
- Confident working to sales targets and owning outcomes
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable selling in person, online and over email/phone
- Organised, reliable and proactive
- Confident using POS, Shopify or similar ecommerce systems
Experience in skincare, beauty, premium retail or wholesale environments is highly regarded.
